Calvin Klein Jeans, a division of Warnaco Inc., has an exciting opportunity for a talented Retail Coordinator to join our team. The Calvin Klein Retail Coordinator is a business manager for a territory of department stores. Retail Coordinators are responsible for facilitating branch store sales growth and profitability.

The Retail Coordinator works in conjunction with the Calvin Klein Account Executives, Account Buyers, Account and Store Management, Sales Specialists and Associates, and acts as a liaison between Calvin Klein and the Account to facilitate business growth and profitability. 

 Sales Strategies

•Independently track and manage territory business for each account to the door level. Be proactive in implementing business opportunities through the analysis of: Shop Real Estate, Vendor Adjacencies, Product Placement and Presentation, Basic Replenishment, Stock Assortment, Staffing Needs and Point of Sale and Seasonal Collateral.
•Analyze individual door and total account business through the review of Stock to Sales and Style Selling reports, identifying issues and opportunities affecting business. Communicate, challenge and negotiate with Account Management for what is needed to drive business.
•Maintain a clear understanding of financial goals and product initiatives.
•Develop business-driving strategies through the use of sales contests and creative merchandising to identify additional wholesale and retail business opportunities.
Independently manage and adjust rotation schedule, as needed to meet the business needs of top and poor performing doors.
•Research and identify competitor product, pricing, marketing, merchandising and sales programs.
•Manage the execution and compliance of markdown schedules, shop real estate needs and appropriate staffing levels.
•Create, manage and attend special events while monitoing their effectiveness.
•Ability to be flexible, respond timely and effectively to changing priorities and the ability to excel in a fast paced sales environment.

Communication - Account and Store Management

•Develop strong business relationships with all retail players at the corporate and store level, including corporate trainers, regional merchandise managers, store managers, regional and store visual management, merchandising training managers, area sales managers, sales associates, merchandisers and selling specialists/stock handlers.
•Communicate all product information, business analysis, floor location, presentation and staffing needs with store personnel.
•Discuss open issues from store visits, business opportunities, competitive feedback and outpost opportunities.
•Partner with management to capitalize on success and resolve outstanding issues.

Communication - Account Executives

•Immediately report "Urgent Issues", take appropriate action and recommend resolutions.
•Review performance of top Sales Drivers, selling reports, sales and stock ratios, best/slow sellers, markdowns/pos schedule, sizing, etc. Identify and communicate issues/opportunities to initiate resolution.

Communication - CK Management

•Maintain consistent well rounded dialog through various means of business communication (conference calls, email, voicemail and virtual meetings) to ensure awareness of all business aspects.
•Enlist management support in order to strengthen communication, cooperation and relationships within accounts.

Merchandising / Visual Standards

•Merchandise floor space using current directives with a clear understanding of the placement of top Sales Drivers.
•Partner with store management to ensure Calvin Klein merchandising and visual standards are implemented and maintained.
•Ensure that markdowns are completed, pulled together and signed.
•Set fixtures to represent the CK standard presentation, by creating an ADA compliant and customer friendly environment.
•Partner with Visual Managers to ensure standardized collateral, POS and vendor ID.
•Manage the installation and merchandising of CK Shops.

Customer Service/Fitting

•Expertise in all aspects of bra fitting.
•Participate in Account initiated fit events.
•Initiate customer fittings during daily visits.
•Ability to build strong customer relationships.
•Daily interaction with various customers regarding product, sizing, fabric content etc. 
.

The ability to lift 30-50 lbs.

Ability to perform up to 8 hours of physical exertion of retail merchandising; including but not limited to: floor moves, product fill-in, fixture and shop installation, stockroom organization, etc.
Desired Education: Bachelor's Degree or work experience equivalent preferred
Experience: 2 years wholesale/retail merchandising, management experience a plus
Skills: Excellent customer service, strong verbal and written communication, highly organized, to successfully work and grow in a team environment, self motivated and strong time management skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
